Welcome to my site! I have spent the last 16 years of my life here in the PNW. As  young black girl, moving here in my formative years, it took me a long time to feel like I could call the Portland/Vancouver area my home. It wasn’t until my late college/post grad life  that I have come to really explore and fall in love with the city I’m in. There is definitely something for EVERYONE. It amazes me sometimes how much good music, food and friendships are waiting to be enjoyed!

I started this blog as a way to showcase my city and give you some ideas of things to eat, places to go and something fabulous to wear for your next adventure. I hope you can use my blog as a way to get to know me and the Portland/Vancouver area and grow to love it as much as I have!
